data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"625\">There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.<\/p><p data-start=\"627\" data-end=\"705\">Those muscles are essential for producing force and driving your body forward.<\/p><p data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"766\">But sprinting doesn&#8217;t happen on just one side of your body.<\/p><p data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"798\">Every stride has <strong data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"797\">two jobs<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"800\" data-end=\"815\">One leg pushes.<\/p><p data-start=\"817\" data-end=\"896\">The other leg must immediately accelerate forward to prepare for the next push.<\/p><p data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"956\">If the swing side can&#8217;t keep pace with the pushing side&#8230;<\/p><p data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"1009\">your running speed will eventually reach a ceiling.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1011\" data-end=\"1014\" \/><h2 data-section-id=\"1y695ww\" data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1048\">The Missing Half Of Sprinting<\/h2><p data-start=\"1050\" data-end=\"1106\">This is where the Speed Training Challenge is different.<\/p><p data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1155\">Instead of simply asking you to train harder&#8230;<\/p><p data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1224\">it asks you to train one of the most overlooked parts of sprinting.<\/p><p data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1308\">The muscles responsible for rapidly driving your leg forward into the next stride.<\/p><p data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1356\">Those muscles are led by your <strong data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1355\">hip flexors<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1470\">For most athletes, this side of sprinting receives only a fraction of the attention devoted to the pushing side.<\/p><p data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1560\">Yet both sides must work together if maximum running speed is ever going to be achieved.<\/p><hr data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1565\" \/><h2 data-section-id=\"i02ob2\" data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1632\">Why Most Hip Flexor Exercises Never Reach Their Full Potential<\/h2><p data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1700\">Thousands of videos show athletes performing hip flexor exercises.<\/p><p data-start=\"1702\" data-end=\"1732\">Most have one thing in common.<\/p><p data-start=\"1734\" data-end=\"1800\">They train <strong data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1760\">hip flexion<\/strong> while allowing the knee to remain bent.<\/p><p data-start=\"1802\" data-end=\"1843\">That certainly activates the hip flexors.<\/p><p data-start=\"1845\" data-end=\"1904\">But it doesn&#8217;t fully challenge them the way sprinting does.<\/p><p data-start=\"1906\" data-end=\"1969\">During sprinting, the hip flexors don&#8217;t simply lift your thigh.<\/p><p data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2114\">They must rapidly accelerate the swing leg forward while simultaneously extending the knee\u2014all while your body is already moving at high speed.<\/p><p data-start=\"2116\" data-end=\"2153\">That&#8217;s a completely different demand.<\/p><p data-start=\"2155\" data-end=\"2249\">When the knee remains bent during training, there is still slack within the hip flexor system.<\/p><p data-start=\"2251\" data-end=\"2344\">The muscles are never challenged to the level they are capable of producing during sprinting.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2346\" data-end=\"2349\" \/><h2 data-section-id=\"1bh8g7s\" data-start=\"2351\" data-end=\"2370\">The Breakthrough<\/h2><p data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2429\">The Speed Training data-start=\"3818\" data-end=\"3829\">quicker<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"3832\" data-end=\"3865\">Others say they felt <strong data-start=\"3853\" data-end=\"3864\">lighter<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"3867\" data-end=\"3975\">Many simply say they couldn&#8217;t believe the difference they experienced after only a short period of training.<\/p><p data-start=\"3977\"
